Where can I get an exhaust fan vent that can be attached to a soffet. Since my house has a large overhang, venting through the soffet seems to be the best way to go. This vent will be facing down. Thanks

Not sure where you are from, if you have menards there or not, but they carrie them. Otherwise I am sure that any of the big lumberyards can get them if not home depot or lowes.
If your fan has a backdraft flap near the unit, then you can vent it as normal to the soffet, cut a hole in the soffet and use a dryer vent. Just make sure you put a bird cage over the top of it as it will be hanging open, also available at home depot or lowes....I have also seen people for astetic reasons just paint a little grill that would cover the hole and attacting the venting flush to the soffet and cover with that grill...have to be careful of debris and lent clogging it up though.

I was just in Home Depot last week and purchased a new bathroom exhaust fan. I saw the soffit vent kits there too. I think the whole kit was around $20.
