Hi All,
Need to do some quick fixer-up repairs on a home kitchen. The floor is currently 1' sq tiles with some broken corners and edges over plywood. For a quick repair job we want to install linolium over the tile in the cooking/cleaning area and indoor/outdoor carpeting the rest. It's for a loan approval and only temporary until time allows installation of a perco floor. My question is about prepping the floor before putting the lenolium down. Should we remove all the old tile first, scraping clear all the old glue and other crap or just fill in the holes and use some type of underlayment over the tile then put down the linolium?
Any links would be helpful.
Thanks,
BigNoze

Remove the old tile first and all that is under it. :coffee:
