Had to clean my Mark 89 Coil so the gears would rotate and move the plunger in and out of the control unit and allow water flow. There are two small switches that ride along in a groove on the side of the plastic piece (gear) that controls the cycle of the unit. I can either get the the plastic piece to spin freely or not spin at all due depending on the positioning of the switch bracket. What is the starting point for the switches on that gear? When I regen I dont think the gaer and the timer are in synch. The gear will move if I manually depress the switch but I need to coordinate it with the timer itself. What I need is a good starting point. Any suggestions?
