I replaced the thermostat in my ten year old Magic Chef Range/Oven (model number 6898XRB), but the temperature is still way off. I have to set it to 500 degrees to get it to really heat up and then I have to slowly decrease the temperature to get it down to 350 degrees. What other defective parts could be causing this?
