when i turn on oven and burner comes on it makes a high pitched whistling noise. it seems to stop when the oven warms or burner goes off. any ideas? it has a valve ignitor combination and i wondered if it might be bad.

Well the first place I would look is the size of the connector. It may be undersized. Too small a flex connector will cause whistling noise. Also make sure line valve is fully on. Actually the first thing to do is make sure the burner is on the orifice properly.
