In an earlier thread I asked about finding a shortblock for a Tecumseh HM80. I found a "new-old-stock" HMSK80 for $250. (they don't make the HMSK80 anymore)

It's a perfect fit except the throttle and choke are on the engine. My old engine used the handlebar controls on the snowblower. That's okay, I eliminated the throttle controls and cables!

BTW, when I contacted Tecumseh, they told me the replacement engine for my HM80 is the 9HP, HMSK90. Luckily I found this engine because the HMSK90 costs over 400 bucks.
