Deodorant stains are unfortunate, and there is no way to prevent them. There are ways to remove them. Just treat the stain as soon as possible, but first, read the care instruction for the fabric. If it's delicate, take it to a dry cleaner. If it's cotton and machine-washable, use a spot remover, add a little bit of detergent (moistened with water) to the stain, and rub the stained spot -- but do this only with white shirts. Then reapply spot remover, and put the shirt in the washing machine or hand wash it. And if all else fails take it to the dry cleaner.

Dedorant has a waxy base. Pouring hot vinegar through stains will melt wax. You can soak in vinegar/water solution to remove remaining stains. As indicated, rubbing alcohol is effective because it is a solvent and will dissolve the wax.
