My brother gave me a Maytag gas oven/range for a rental apartment I have. It is probably 10 to 12 years old. Electronic ignition/self cleaning. It was used by the store guys to heat their lunches, but never used again. Essentially brand new. They converted it to LP gas, my apartment has natural gas. I need to convert it back, the Maytag store said there's no kit, to change the regulator setting and the burner and oven orifices. Is this something I should leave to a professional? If I do it, is there any way to check if it's correct? Please advise, as one website said if it's not done correctly there's a danger of carbon monoxide. Thanks, Candy

From LP to nat is pretty easy. However I don't think you should try it yourself. Call your locall gas co and see if they offer this service. They do where I live.
