When the clothes washer drains for the rinse cycles it backs up into our kitchen shink! It didn't used to do this (about 4 or 5 years ago). It is a dual sink and both fill until washer is draining, when it is done then the sinks will drain. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

rhklepinger, Welcome to the DIY Forums.
It appears you have a partial clog that causes the washer to back up. Washers put out a large amount of water in a short time. Thats why washer drains have to be 2" instead of 1-1/2" like the sink. There is a lot of lint in washer drainage. This is the main cause of clogs.
You can snake the drainline. Or have it done.
You may want to try a drain cleaner called Drain Care. It is an enzyme drain cleaner that clings to the partial clog and "eats" it. Unlike caustic cleaners that flow by the clog and go down the pipes. It is safe for even septic systems. Takes overnight and may need more than one treatment but it does work. About $8 at Home Centers, Walmart and Ace. It works for most clogs except tree roots. Good luck.
