I have a hard time to figure out if the Vytex Georgetown windows series are indeed fully welded (frame & sashes). I have read somewhere that despite some salesman's argument, those windows are only partially welded, i.e., the frame is mechanically and "chemically" (i.e., glue) fastened at the corners. Anyone could assert things for sure? I have contacted the Vytex company (located somewhere in the greater Baltimore/Washington D.C. area) and after "double checking" with someone (?) the salesperson did assert that those windows were fully welded. I find strange that a salesperson wouldn't know "for sure" how their windows are made, especially since this issue of welded frame and sashes is a big one. She did mention however that they do carry a model which is not fully welded.
