I have a sliding glass door in my kitchen leading to a screened porch. There is hardwood on the kitchen floor, was wondering if anybody had any suggestions about what kind of blinds( I need them for privacy) I can use here.
Thanks,

Vertical blinds are a great choice for sliding glass doors since they can be drawn to allow for a clear passage through the operating door. They a reasonably priced and will give you the privacy you want.

I also wanted to know what color would look the best for the verticle blinds. Should I color co-ordinate it with the wall color of the kitchen or the hardwood floor color.

If the wall color is going to remain the same for a number of years then go with that. The floor is not a good idea.
