Any recommendation for a waterbased poly for sealing a glaze on cabinets? I need to roll/brush on the bases, so I'm looking for a slow drying product that won't leave brush marks.

TIA

Why use waterbased? If the waterbased has dried more than 24 hours you can use a good oil base poly.

One of the keys to having little or no brush marks is to use a very good brush like Ox or Horses hair. Expect to pay about $25-30 bucks for one. Get a 2-1/2 or 3"

Once you stir the finish, if poly, wait 10 mins before you apply it. Also, only brush in one direction, as this will help prevent any brush marks or bubbles

I want a non-yellowing, and had a bad experience on my last kitchen rehab using oil based which turned a horid shade of yellow about 6 months after I finished the project.

Where do I find that type of brush? Have I just missed them at the paint store, or do I need to try a woodworkers store?

Try a product called Varathane at Menards. It's a non-yellowing floor
product and will work just like a poly. It comes in different sheens.

You need to go to a specific paint store for the brush. Not a big box store

Hi
Watherbase poly will not yellow.
Robar MC 55, MC 65 will not yellow, You need 743 solvant for cleanning.
As for brush get a Prudy or Crown Royal.
Do not skake simply stir to prevent bubble, let stand 10 nimutes
You can have rub on waterbase poly you applied with a clean ragg.

Poly will yellow.

cheers
