I am ready to set the toilet bowl on tile and would like to know what I can apply to the base of the bowl to seal to tile floor? Would I use a silicone, reg tub and tile caulk,or I have seen something that looks like a cement that plumbers use. Thanks

By cement, I am thinking Grout. Many times the same color grout is used to match the color of the floor. The other products will work. I never seal all the way around the toilet. I leave the back open in case of a wax ring failure. Some disagree but I would rather see the water come from under the toilet than in the crawl later or after it made its way under the tile to the hall. The back of the toilet bowl is not seen anyways so I see no need to seal it. Good luck.
