Does anyone know the best way to go about removing an improperly installed bathtub liner without damaging a new surround?
When I bought my home, there was no shower surround installed with the tub - at that time the tub liner was in good shape - and I installed a new surround. However, the tub liner has since raised and I believe there is a pocket of water between the liner and the original tub. It has gotten to the point that something definitly has to be done - I just don't know the best way to go about the project. I want to refinish the original tub instead of getting another liner - or an entire new tub. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!
Thanks in advance :)

If you can.......take pictures of your situation and go to www.photobucket.com so we can better help you.
It sounds like all of it is going to have to be removed........but that is a guess.
