my tenant called me saying that kitching sink leaks water. i went to take a look and puzzled by how did it happen?
1) the connector on the garbage disposal for the dishwasher hose was totally gone, and left a hole the garbage disposer.
2) the dishwasher hose was disconnected and looked like being chopped off at the end (the tighten metal ring was still on the hose). from this end, it could be seen that the hose was completely clogged/sealed by some solid (looks like grey concrete).
i am totally puzzled by this. could it be caused by
1) broken dishes in the dishwasher then stucked in the hose connecting to the garbage disposal? but, how could it be so strong and pulled the whole connector off and left a hole on the disposal?
2) some powder was dumped in the disposal and got stucked in the outlet to dishwasher?

any other theory?

I would take a sample of whats in the hose and have it check.
check your local township they will give you direction
