Asid from our main cabin, I have a pair of sleeping cabins, about 8'x10' with 7' ceilings. They're vinyl sided and 2x4 stub walls with trussed roof, interior is bare stud and trusses.
The things get stinkin' hot in the summer and I was thinking of adding some insulation to keep some of the heat out plus adding roof ventilation to evacuate any heat that does accumulate.
A few questions ...
1. Would it actually work?
2. How would you insulate the roof but leave the trusses exposed (drywalling would close the space in too much)
3. What's the best route to go for roof ventilation?
Thanks in advance,
