Hi,
I have a problem with my double-walled chimney. Every time the boiler goes on, the chimney bangs, i.e. there's a really loud knocking noise whenever the boiler goes on.
I thought it was knocking on something wooden from expansion, but since it's double wall that can't be the case. I've asked a number of people, and no one has any ideas.
Ideas, anyone? Thanks in advance.

Is this a gas B vent pipe on the boiler? can you get to all the pipe? is it right as the boiler lights or after it is running for a time?
