Hello everyone,
While installing my new fiberglass shower, I accidentally chipped the shower base near the drain. It is pretty deep; so I think I may need a filler and then sand it from there. Does anyone have suggestions on a good filler and how to do this correctly. The shower is made by MAAX and is a white finish. Thanks so much.

I tried the MAAX pages, but for material they won't say more than "acrylic". With this limited information, I'd call a local fibreglass supply with the problem, and see if they offer small gel-coat kits. Autobody filler will build and sand OK and stay put, I just don't know what the best gel coat would be for resurfacing the pan.
