We have two bathrooms side by side. One has an exhaust fan, the other doesn't. Can we add a fan to the other bathroom and use the same venting ductwork? or do we need two separate sets of duct work? We want to prevent one fan from venting into the other bathroom.

You could use the same venting but you need to only have one fan. Check this link - look at the FR or FX series.
