I AM THINKING ABOUT REDECORATING MY DINING ROOM IN A DIFFERENT COLOR AND I ALREADY HAVE BLINDS UP THAT ARE IN GOOD CONDITION. IS THERE SOMETHING ON THE MARKET THAT ALLOWS YOU TO CHANGE THE SLATS TO MATCH THE NEW COLOR OR DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGESSTIONS?

If they are 1" slat blinds, forget it. The cost is not worth it and you will never get the factory to position the holes in the slats in the exact location. I'm in the business and I've tried it.

I recently changed my slats on horizontal blinds (dining room too). Anyhow, it was cheaper to just purchase new ones rather than a whole new set up. But not by that much. I think you'll have to investigate the difference in cost in changing just the slats or starting over...lots of choices for slats though.
