I am in the process of finishing my basement and am starting to finish the bathroom. Our doorway to bring a shower in is around 34 ¾ “. Is there a 1 piece shower that is 48” wide and less than 34 3/4 “ deep with a single or double seat in the shower that will fit through my door?
If not, my second potential plan was to have a tile shower. I have heard they are tuff to keep clean and can potentially leak and are basically a maintenance nightmare. Any thoughts or recommendations? Thanks.

Why not a 5 piece shower surround? If walls already there, install would be a snap.

Thanks for the reply. I was trying to stay away from the multi piece showers as we just didn’t care for the way they looked. Any ideas about a tiled shower and how much maintenance it would be to keep up, etc? Is it difficult to install do you know?
