How can I paint a table that has a slick top surface? It's the kind of surface that looks like wood, but it isn't. It' probably a laminate of some kind.
Should I sand it lightly? Then, what kind of paint? Thanks for your help.

well I would lightly sand but there are many choices of paint, why not try and post your question under Furniture refinishing you willget a better responce there by the resident exsperts, I hope this helps a little, Handyman
