There was a short discussion public discussion where one of the members was looking at a financial bind. Short.... 4k quote to run water lines to area he wanted softner installed, there was power in this location.......would have to run power to incoming water at house in order to set the unit there...... my suggestion was a Kinetico....a reply was posted stating that it was an OK unit, if "you want to deal with centuries old technoligy".........I was told that if I wanted to debate the single tank electric versus the twin tank non electric, that I should post a new thread.......so, that's what i'm doing.....please, everyone's opinion is welcome.......not looking to fight.......let's discuss the FACTS!!!!! :D

Any remarks made in these Forums regarding the merits of the following;
1. Filters between Submersible pumps and pressure switches,
2. Galv tanks being better than modern bladder tanks,
3. Chlorine pumps being the answer to everything,
- should not be taken as 'gospel' , and in fact warrant careful research from a number of reliable sources before you act on any such 'advice' . :cool:
Do it Right - Do it once.
