We have an old Sears all polyurethane mattress which has lasted us 25 years. It's perfect, excepts it's old.
In the past six months we have not been able to find anything even near comparable in quality and comfort. The coiled mattresses are mostly too hot; the latex has a smell.
Anyone know of where they make an all polyurethane mattress that will last at least 10 years or more?
* I have slept on The Marriott's mattress and Jamison Mattresses wrote me that their mattresses are 100% polyurethane specially made for them. Coils are in the boxspring like our old mattress. Why has this type been eliminated???? Let me guess, they're too comfortable and we'll keep them for 25 years?

so you want to know what companies, other than Jamison, have a polyurethane foam mattress? do you not like the Jamison one?

Polyurethane mattresses appear to still be available. Do an online search. A quality bedding shop should be able to order you one if they don't stock them.

A locally owned independent shop can get you what you want
You just won't find what your looking for in chain stores or department stores
This company still makes them, maybe they can help find a retailer near you

I did find a 100% poplyrethane foam mattress at Foamsource. It was the only place who still made them. It's a 7" all foam with 2" of softer foam on top. They were very easy to do business with. And the return policy is very good. :o
