My sis has a house from the '20s and managed to save a piece of the original wallpaper. She wants to frame it but is unsure how to frame it so that it is not further damaged. It is already rather dry and brittle. Suggestions??

sherrylynn,I have a friend that has a picture framing and photo restoration shop that I will ask tonight how to frame the paper.I respond to you because I have heard him talk aboutdry mountingdelicate pictures.I'll be back with you with his opinion.

sherrylynn,Our buddy says that the way to mount the paper is with 3M repositionable paper tape.Sounds like it comes on a roll that is sticky on two sides with peel off back.It is archival quality and acid free.Should be able to buy a piece at any good frame shop.......good luck.....Mike
