I have a 14'X20' addition on the back of my house and on the back wall is a builtin fireplace. It takes up about 3/4 of the 14' wall. The face of the fireplace is covered in sandstone. Several years back we had a leak in the back side of the fireplace which caused parts of the sandstone to erode. By that I mean small chunks of the stone would just fall off from the moisture. We have since found and repaired the leak. Now I would like to remove the remaining sandstone to give it a new look. Any ideas on where to start??
Thanks for any information in advance
