My wife does not want the carcass of our wardrobe to look the same as our kitchen units - ie white plastic on chipboard.

What alternatives are there and can anyone point me to examples of wardrobe design that illustrates the build and features of a fitted wardrobe.

Head for the nearest furniture store and see what they have in real wood. Be prepared for some sticker shock, though. :D

If you don't find anything you like at the store, call someone like Sawdustguy or me. We'll build just what you want but it will be pricey! :eek:
