Pump pressure 20 60 is that ok?

I recently bought this house, the pump I had to replace, the new and old pump kicked in around 20 and off at 60, I have read people setting 40 60, I have a large capacity prfilter and a water softner, is 20 psi too low for this equipmen or some other reason for 40 60 other than faucet pressure?

Hi Duke107,
- Yes, 20 psi is too low to operate the equipment and have reasonable pressure after it . I would raise the cut on to 30 psi and bring the tank air up to 28. :cool:
