I am in the process of chiseling out three cracks in my basement walls and running a cut tubing inside crack down the wall into the drain tile. I have two questions. 1. Do you have to use the plastic paneling to cover over the repair or can I use a cement patch? 2. I have what looks to be a damp area at the bottom of a wall, but no crack in the wall anywhere near it. Could the water be seeping up through the floor? Any ideas. Thanks, Kevin
