Hello, I have a NorthStar (eco-water) Ultra II home water softener. A couple of days ago I looked in the salt tank to check how much salt was remaining, and I found that the salt tank was about one-third or more full of water. I've never had more than a couple inches in there. Can anyone help me diagnose what's wrong ? I refreshed the softener with no change. The water level has remained at that level for several days now.
Any areas to check, and how to check, would be GREATLY appreciated!

It isn't sucking brine and then it adds back the water it was to have used. Eventually it might overflow onto the flow.
Check the manual and clean the eductor/injector, it's screen etc. If it still doesnt work then it's probably the disc and figure 8 gasket.
