I found a source for 1/2" drawer stock, but now I'm having a problem with the "guides". My cabinet is 8ft long with 4 drawer openings. I need the type of guides that go "under" the drawer since it's all open inside. The problem: I can't find the correct length that would fasten from the front to the back. Home Depot carries 4 lengths but I can't use any of those unless I screw a 2X4 to the back wall. I quess what I really need to know is if there is a supplier that carries about any lenth you need?? Something other than 16,18,20 and 22inch.

Those are your typical drawer sizes.

I have installed drawer slides that attach to the back wall of the via adjustable brackets. The slide themselves snap into the brackets anywhere from 1" to 3" from the backwall. The brackets screw into the back wall.
I've only seen them in side mount, full extension slides, but you may be able to find something similar in undermount.
How deep is your cabinet?

Herm, total distance is 17 1/2". 18" slide is to long, 16" to short. I think what I'm going to have to do is use the 16" guide and make up the difference with with a board mounted on the back of the cabinet. That should work.
