Hi i'm trying to install a dimmer switch and i need some help
The switch has 3 wires
2-black
1-green
The wall has 6 wires
2-black
2-white
2-copper
I also have pictures if you need them
Any help is much appreciated

What was in this box before and how was it connected?
The most likely answer is this: Connect one of the black wires in the box to one of the black wires from the dimmer. Connect the other black wire in the box to the other black wire from the dimmer. Connect the two white wires in the box to each other, but not to the dimmer. Connect the two bare wires in the box to the green wire from the dimmer.
