Hello all,
I have a Maytag Neptune (model MAH3000AWW) that has developed a slow leak. After doing several loads of clothes there is water seeping out from under it. First, I've never been inside this washer, so what is the easiest way in? Second, what are common things to look for with water leaks in these washers? Any advice is appreciated.
Thank you,
Mike

Ok, I obviously haven't learned a thing so far in life because one of the first things I should have learned is check the easy stuff first. :thinker: After pulling the door and front panel off, lifting the top panel, and checking the plumbing I can't find the leak when suddenly it dawns on me that I haven't checked the fitting on the water lines into the washer. Bingo! The cold water line was dripping ever so slightly and there was a bit of a rust mark just under it, so a trip to Home Depot and .98 later I think the leak is fixed. I swapped out the rubber washers on both hoses just to ensure that I don't have another leak in the near future. Hope this helps someone in the future.

Hi Mike, and welcome to DIY Forums.
- thanks for posting back with that solution, it always helps somebody.
BTW, I guess you did clean out the screens there while you had the hoses off ?
