I have a decent size bonus room that is over our garage that get quite a bit colder than the rest of the house. Instead of turning up the central heat, I would like to buy a space heater to keep just that room warm. Problem is, I don't know what the best to buy is. I had one of those Vornado heaters, but didn't really do the trick and was noisy. Does anyone have any suggestions of the best type of heater? How well do the oil filled heaters work? It isn't something that will be left on all the time, just when we are in the room.
