My daughter`s dryer was tearing her clothes and I noticed the rear seal was missing causing the problem. It`s a Fridgidare and is different than my dryer, so before I put the new seal on, I want to make sure I do it right.
Does anybody have any advice or comments that will help?

Hi eric,
- I'm not sure what you refer to as the rear seal, but it sounds like you're on the right track. I've never replaced a Frigidaire seal of any kind, but will try to find out more.

Well...like you, this was my first time, and after lots of research I discovered not all dryers have a rear seal, although my local parts store was happy to sell me one.
Turns out she got two numbers mixed up on my model number and that number showed a felt seal for the rear, which is not the case on my daughters.
Parts direct.com has a fantastic website full of information, pctures, help, and part numbers, check t out if you haven`t yet, it`s the best I`ve found.
