I am in the planning stages of finishing my basement.
Background:The Builder already framed quite a few interior walls and door openings using 2x6 lumber (some as load bearing support walls). I plan to frame along the concrete perimeter and add some more dividing walls using 2x4s.
Subfloor question:
I plan to use Platon underlayment and put 3/4" plywood on top of it.
1. Do I Hilti the new walls to the subfloor/concrete while making up for the elevation difference w/ the existing walls? or
2. Do I build the new walls and put the floor down afterwards.
Thanks :)
