I currently have stained (satin finish) woodwork and wish to paint but NOT sand. Is there a product I can paint on or something I can wash the woodwork with?

I prefer lightly sanding but you can purchase a liquid sander/de-glosser at paint and most hrdware stores, be sure to follow the directions. Be sure to prime the wood with an oil primer before painting. I know you don't want to sand but I will recomend lightly sanding (220 grit) after the the primer dries. Be sure to use a quality paint, expecially on woodwork.
