hello,i just found a 6 unit duplex,thats rents out at 450.00 each and 4 br house that rents for 950.00 a month.does $350,000 for the whole deal sound too much ?

Can you give us a little more information? Location, condition of the places, similiar sales, quality of schools, etc. Are you using a realtor?

What's your return on investment?
= ((years rent - expenses) X 100) / $350000
so (43,800 - ?) X100) / 350000 = what
You should be able to find out expenses from current owner's books.
Then the question is: could I earn more somewhere else?
