maytag rsd2000cae frost-free won't shut off

My Maytag side-by-side frost free just won't shut off

I replaced the thermostat for $40 and still the same. Wife thinks I'm a moroan.

Am I?

Fan is running fine in freezer and underneath on condensor.

Help?

Can set brand new thermostat at lowest setting and it still runs all the time.
Ice cram like a rock and lettuce freezing up.

Could I have two bad thermostats or am I missing something?

Hi Boardman,
- try cleaning the condenser coils (by the compressor) and also make sure the condenser fan is working. If that doesn't work post back with model# :cool:
