I have a carrier heater unit, after the heater reaches it set temperature, the gas burners will shut off but the blower will continue for another 30 mins. before it shuts off, what is the problem with it? This unit does not have a circuit board.

If there is no fan timer board than you must have a fan switch or combination fan/limit switch. I believe older carrier furnaces had seperate switches. I'm trying to recall the brand of fan switch?? Check the switch to see if it is an off temp or on temp you set. Most are off temp switches. If off set at 95 if upflow style & 90 if counterflo style. If on temp style set at 130 for upflo & 125 for counterflo. Or maybe switch just worn out & sticking.

Also make sure your air filter is clean and the return and supply ducts are not obstructed.
