GE Dishwasher will not pump/drain

My GE dishwasher will not pump or drain.
The motor and pump runs but only a slow trikkle of water is pumped out. I have the drain in a bucket so i could see what is happening.
The soliniod on the drain actuating valve works.
What should I check now ?

Hi ianh,
- this sounds like a pump problem. Pull it out so you can remove all the pump tubes and check for obstructions. Try to rotate the impeller if possible.

First of all I found out there are two pumps on this GE dishwasher and two screens inside the tub.
I disconnected some pipes after I pulled out the dishwasher
Then I found the service info hidden on the lower frame.
I then tested the controller, and then the second pump that empties the dishwasher at the end of the cycle.
An instruction said to remove the screen at the back, and check the valve. I had already tried to remove the collection box at the back of the tub on the outside of the tub. These are part of the same assembly.
I found the box clogged under the valve.
This fixed the problem......
