A couple of questions about making orange peel texture. What consistancy do I want the compound to be. Second what kind of roller do I need to be using. And last but not least what direction do I roll. All one direction or do I do W's. If one direction like I suspect up and down on walls? Also what about the ceiling. In the direction of the longest run? Thanks for all the great input. With all the help on this forumn my drywall looks so good, I almost don't even what to cover it up with paint. Well almost anyways.

Thin with water until it's about like a real thick soup. I spray all of my texture except for small patches, do those with either spray can stuff of a sponge. We do the orange peel with a large tip on the sprayer and heavy coverage on the surface.
