Hello
My wife placed a hot glass dish on our dining room table which is oak with a urethane finish-I'm gueassing at the urethane as it was purchased from a person who makes furniture.
Is there some trick to removing that cloudy area the hot dish created when it altered the finish?
Thank you
Pete

You might check with the maker of the piece to find out what finish is on it. Knowing that will help you find a cure for the problem. Unless the piece was ordered with polyurethane as a finish, it may well be lacquer or conversion varnish.

Hope this helps.
