Hi I'm building my first sofa. Does anyone know what kind of tools ect.. I will need from common sense I figured I would need a staple gun for the fabric to the wood. A drill to screw the joints together, a level and measuring tape, 8 inch square, double jaw f clamp and a jigsaw, and glue.

Am I missing anything? And what kind of sewing tool would I need for the cushions ect..?

Is anyone here from Vancouver B.C.? Cause I need to know where to get the fabric for the sofa, and was hoping a local knows a good place.

Thanks for any help.

Here is a link to a discussion on building a sofa. It can be quite a structural challenge to build one. I have always been amazed at how strong one has to be in order to work.
