I'm looking for a 'detail drawing' or information on how to build a kneewall under a roof truss so as to have a flat loadbearing surface without cutting a birdsmouth into the truss. Your info will be appreciated. Thanks.

When you say truss, do you mean roof rafter? That's where you would
usually see kneewalls, a truss shouldn't need a kneewall. If wer'e both on
the same page here, why not use a double top plate on the kneewall, the
upper plate nailed flush to the bottoms of the rafters and either cut a birds-
mouth in the kneewall studs or simply cut the tops of these studs at the
same angle as the roof pitch?
