I just bought this "old" house with a "COZY" wall furnace. After burning for awhile and perhaps reaching the set temp the burner will turn off and when it does it also puts out the pilot light. Any ideas from those who know??? I forgot to mention that the unit is LP. Thanks

Could be as simple as a weak thermocouple (not likely), a dirty pilot orifice, low gas pressure, or a host of other problems. These Cozy gravity furnaces have a bad reputation for cracking heat exchangers. Have this thing checked by a pro ASAP.

We don't know the age of this furnace. Does It have a Vent safety(spill) switch. If yes that may be where problem is ocurring. i would definetly have inspected by either your local LP co or a HVAC co.
