I am considering installing whoul house humidifier and not sure which brand or which type to use
I am considering Aprilaire model 400 OR 600 OR 700 OR Honeywell HE365?
Any help on figuring out which one is the best choice, It is appreciated.
My furnace is located in basement and sumpwell is about 40 foot away from furnace So draining will require running drain line to sumpwell.
Also howmuch do you expect to pay for Humidifier, all necessary accessosries and installation?
One of the installor said he can use pump installed for Central AC condensation for draining water from humidifier and empting it to sumpwell.
Please help, I am confused.

They are all goood.. it's all depends on your set up.. Do some research and see what system will work with your system..
Are you able to use the by-pass?
I would do the pump. That way the water will be taken away to a sink or floor drain on the other side of the room than just running miles of drain on the floor.

Thanks Jay11J,
Yes I can do bypass. Only thing is running drain to other side of basement. Is it OK to use same pump that's there for Central AC OR do I need to install new pump?
Thanks again.

The 600 will then work.
You can use the same pump that uses for the a/c .
