Low pressure switch went open on Comformaker heat pump condenser. Bypassed switch and all was fine according to plate on unit. System works fine without it but I would like to replace it when weather warms up. Supco makes a lps but I don't know which pressure to use. Maybe a open at 5# and close at 20#? Got any ideas? Comfortmaker heat pump 3.5 ton.

Thanks!

Thanks for reply. Yes charge is correct according to chart on condensor. Maybe I can go to a supply house that handles ICP. I do have part # but I don't want to open system. I can add shrader T if I can find right values.
Thanks!

The answer to your question is yes.
You can add a tee to the system and install a low pressure switch.
Some of the ICP products are already a valve core access, and you can screw off the old switch and screw on a new switch.

Ask your distributer if the fitting has a core or not.
