water proof walls

what is the best material on the market for water proof walls,what is the cheapeast.I just purchased a building and i need to waterproof the walls what do you folks out there recommend.Thanks Gary.

When you say waterproof the walls, will this be used for a shower or bath stall? Or waterproof as in keep the rain out when it splashes on the siding? Or is this a wall that is subterranean and has a problem with moisture coming through the wall from the outside? Is the wall wood, masonry, vinyl?

Its for the inside of a building so I can wash down the walls nightly.I am looking at doing a food service in there.Thanks for your advice.
