I hope this is the right forum for my question. I have a banquet table (folding table with surface that looks like wood but isn't real wood), and the top needs to be refinished somehow. I have some Minwax Polyshades ("stain & polyurethane in one step"). Does anyone have any idea how well this would work? Thanks very much! Jamie

(folding table with surface that looks like wood but isn't real wood),
If the surface is vinyl or similar material then you cannot use that product on it.Basically if it isn't real wood then it won't work.
I could go into a lot of long detailed reasons why but the real point is the answer is 100% NO.
